To immigrate to Canada in 2023, you must know the provincial nominee pathway. PNPs, or Provincial Nominee Programs, are immigration programs managed by Canadian provinces. Through PNPs, provinces select and nominate eligible candidates for permanent immigration.

If you qualify to apply for a Canada PR visa as a provincial nominee, it becomes easier for you to move to a Canadian province of your choice.

Canada has approximately 80 different PNPs with different eligibility requirements and a unique application process. Through these programs, provinces aim to address their specific economic and labour market needs. Therefore, they select candidates with relevant work experience in occupations in high demand in the particular province.

Many PNPs require applicants to have a prior connection to a province, like the previous study, previous work experience, or a job letter in the province. Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)- Alberta Express Entry Stream

The second is the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream, for which a language score of minimum CLB 4 is required, among other requirements.

During the intake period, an applicant has to submit an online application through Nova Scotia Portal.
