Points for Study in CanadaFor above high school study in Canada, you will get some points in express entry system, i.e.

  • You can get 15 points for a one- or 2-year diploma or certificate
  • You can get 30 points for a degree, diploma, or certificate of three years or more,

Or Masters, doctoral or professional degree of minimum one academic year Change in Job Offer Points

  • Now you can get a total of 50 points for a valid job offer from Canada in occupation category, i.e. NOC 0, A or B
  • You can get a total of 200 points for a valid job from Canada in occupation category, e. NOC 00.

More Time to Submit Canada PR application Earlier the express entry were required to submit their Canada PR application within 60 days of the receipt of ITA (Invitation to Apply) from Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), however, now you will get 90 days to submit the PR application after the receipt of ITA. No LMIA needed for certain job offers from CanadaThe Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a key document or certification required to obtain by an employer in Canada to hire an overseas employee. However, as per the key rule change by the IRCC, the LMIA will no longer be required to receive the CRS Points IN Express Entry for certain job offers from Canada, i.e.

  • For employees under North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
  • For federal-provincial agreement
  • For the Mobilit Francophone or
  • In case of intra-company transferee

Period of Job offer The qualified job offer from Canada now only needed for minimum 1 year from the time you become a Canadian permanent resident.

How to update your CRS score based on new changes?
